SUITE 204
Recognizing the impact that the railway had on Marion’s development, we salute the three railroads that serviced Marion–the Marion and McPherson Railway or “Santa Fe” (leased and operated by the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway), the Chicago, Kansas and Nebraska Railway or “Rock Island” (later known as the Union Pacific Railway), and the Marion Belt and Chingawassa Springs Railroad, a short-line that ran northeast from Marion to the quarries and Chingawassa Springs . The Railroad Suite boasts 249 square foot and features two iron beds, one queen and one full, along with an antique dresser and mirror, and an antique wardrobe. The suite includes a private bath with shower/tub combo and an optional connecting door to Suite 202, making it perfect for families.
