SUITE 202
In 1878, Fred Harvey started the first of his eating house-hotel establishments along the AT&SF railroad in Florence, Kansas, just 13 miles southeast of Marion. Harvey is credited with creating the first restaurant chain in the United States. Harvey and his company became leaders in promoting tourism in the American Southwest in the late 19th century so it is only fitting that an Elgin suite would recognize his accomplishments. This 211 square foot suite is adorned with a breathtaking king-size canopy bed featuring a plush mattress, an antique dresser and mirror, and a reading chair. The suite includes a private bath with shower/tub combo and an optional connecting door to Suite 204.
